DIGITAL MARKETING AND DESIGN OFFICER

Salary: Dependent on experience
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per weekWe are looking for a Digital Marketing and Design Officer to join our growing marketing team and bring our ideas to life. This position is half digital, half graphic design. In this position, you’ll translate concepts into powerful and engaging marketing materials including brochures, direct mail, videos, emails, landing pages, presentations and more, as well as driving our product and brand development.The post holder is also responsible for the delivery and evolution of our digital communications across our websites and social media pages, as well as for maximising opportunities to enhance the digital user experience, editing web content and monitoring traffic and engagement. This is a busy role that requires you to be well planned, but with the ability to be entirely reactive when required – which is often!

You will be mainly based at LEAF on Bold Street, Liverpool and will be responsible for the external publicity of all of our businesses (LEAF on Bold Street, LEAF on Portland Street, OH ME OH MY, ONE FINE DAY and The Garden by LEAF at FACT) through a variety of marketing channels, primarily digital.

Tasks will include:

Design

Design marketing material including brochures, flyers, emails, landing pages, infographics, ebooks, presentations
Create custom images for blog posts, social media, emails
Maintain brand consistency
Keep marketing assets organised

Social Media

Manage day-to-day social media operations, including proactive and reactive conversations of a specific market, providing best-in-class service to our customers
Assume the voice of the business, connecting and engaging with followers across all social networks and email databases
Responsible for management of multiple online brand presences in real time
Ensure brand consistency and insight generation, influencing our content creation and responding to social media conversations appropriately
Drive engaging content creation for all our campaign moments, inspired and influenced by our insights
Review, amend and repurpose content across our social platforms
Quality control: Ensure content is posted on time and comments are responded to efficiently

Website

Keep key content areas of the website fresh and dynamic by seeking out new copy, imagery, audio and video materials
Ensure all website content is accurate, accessible, consistent and up to date by systematically checking and updating web pages and also by removing information on a timely basis
Maintain a thorough awareness of developments and trends in digital marketing and communications both nationally and internationally, and make recommendations as appropriate
Report and analyse with a range of digital marketing tools such as Google AdWords and Google Analytics

Applicants should ideally have the following:

Experience setting up and launching the social strategy of start-ups or an exemplary social track record with lots of enthusiasm for the technology / start-up industry, as well as social media
Experience in Social Media Management systems e.g. Hootsuite, Sprinklr etc
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, managing a variety of brands and stakeholders
Smart approach to problems and targets using all resources available to achieve the best result
Experience of working with a CRM (e.g. WordPress)
Experience in email campaigns, list sourcing and database management
Experience in communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
Experience of production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters and e-newsletters etc
Experience in liaising with designers and printers
Experience of digital marketing tools and software e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms as well as CMS systems
Experience in liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders, e.g. customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
Clear motivation to improve the company’s approach to design by keeping up to date with trends, best practices, digital advancements and competitors
Creativity and willingness to learn and introduce new design concepts

This beautiful setting plays host to a range of creative events, award winning afternoon tea sessions and our daily cafe offer.
