Unlike many other teas which should be consumed shortly after production, Pu-erh tea is usually stored and aged for many years, much like a fine wine, to increase the intensity of the flavour.
This Tuo Cha belongs to Royal Pu’erh, originated from Pu‘erh City, Yunnan Province. This variety was first produced in 2011, then compressed and shaped in 2015.
Raw pu’erh (Puerh Sheng) is matured naturally, unlike the fermented varieties which introduce microbes throughout
the aging process.
Use one cake per pot and allow to infuse for 3-5 minutes.
